Covid-19: RTE to broadcast Mass daily during coronavirus outbreak, particularly for elderly

The national broadcaster RTE has announced that they’re going to broadcast Mass daily during the coronavirus outbreak, particularly for the elderly and frail who cannot get out.

Mass will be broadcast every weekday at 10.30am from St Eunan’s and St Columba’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, on RTÉ News Now on Sky Channel 521 anc online. The broadcasts will continue until at least March 29th.

Meanwhile, seeing as people can’t gather indoors in large numbers because of the coronavirus threat, many priests are using technology to help their parishers, especially the frail, elderly or those at high risk who can’t leave their house.

We have included a number of stream links for anyone who’d like to watch and people are asked to share them with their elderly family or friends who’d like to watch it.

The below Youtube link will have Mass live from Dunleer, County Louth at 11:30am.

Sky Channel 588 is EWTN and it will have live Mass throughout the day
