Covid-19: Staff member in one of the largest secondary schools in the country diagnosed with coronavirus, hundreds of pupils sent home




A staff member in one of the largest secondary schools in the country has been diagnosed with coronavirus, prompting hundreds of pupils to be sent home.

It is understood that up to 700 pupils at St. Oliver’s Community College in Drogheda were told not to go to school today.

The facility, which has an attendance of about 1,400, remains open for some classes.
