Four juveniles are due to appear in Cavan District Children’s Court on Thursday morning in connection with a serious public order incident in Virginia, County Cavan.
The event took place on Tuesday, after which several people were taken to hospital. Gardaí have arrested and charged the four juveniles, and the investigation is still ongoing.
A number of Africans were involved with videos on social media showing an elderly Irish man being beaten to a pulp.
