Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar is today claiming that the fourth wave of coronavirus is ‘leveling off’ in Ireland.
His only rationale for stating so is that there were fewer cases today than yesterday.
It’s unclear if Mr. Varadkar understands that case numbers ebb and flow all the time, so there’s no merit to his claim whatsoever, it’s simply a soundbite.
