Recently appointed Taoiseach Micheal Martin has claimed he’s ‘deeply concerned‘ about the mounting cases of coronavirus across Ireland.
The comments come hours after 200 new cases were detected in a 24-h period up to Saturday evening. This is the highest daily number since May.
There are now fears of a return to full lockdown due to the rising number of contagions.
