Covid-19: Taoiseach says that face masks are likely to remain mandatory until Christmas at least, and that we might be forced to take Covid vaccines every year for the rest of our natural lives

Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin has said today that face masks are likely to remain mandatory until Christmas at least, and that we might be forced to take Covid vaccines every year for the rest of our natural lives.

Mr. Martin, whose background does not include medicine, foresees a situation where people might just need to take yearly vaccination, much like flu shots.

He also said that he would consider vaccination on children younger than 12, if advised to do so. Many believe that NPHET are now running the country and not the government, who were elected (just) to do so.

Perhaps coincidentally, Pfizer and Moderna recently announced a substantial hike in vaccine prices, and hinted that regular booster shots are the way to go.
