
The HSE announced on Thursday evening that there was 390 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland with another 21 people dying.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 4,994 with the government expecting a 30% increase daily from this week.
There’s 57% of men with coronavirus and 43% of women with the average age being 48.
Meanwhile in the north, there were 91 new confirmed cases today bringing the total in Northern Ireland to 1,089 with the total number of deaths there now standing at 63.
It means that as of Monday morning, there are now 6,083 confirmed cases across the island of Ireland.
