The UK has lowered its pandemic alert level from four to three amidst declining case numbers.
Level three means that the virus remains in ‘general’ circulation, but transmission rates are no longer high or rising greatly.
The UK’s Chief Medical Officer has nonetheless warned that the pandemic ‘isn’t over.’
