The UK has reported just over 183,000 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h, the highest daily figure in the country since the start of the pandemic.
Official figures say that there have been 183,037 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
Health authorities have also announced 57 new Covid-19-related deaths.
