The UK has reported the death of 160 more people from Covid-19-related causes over the last 24h.
The total death toll there now stands at 34,796, the highest in Europe, and second only to the United States.
Despite that fact, lockdown restrictions were eased on Monday, prompting thousands of people to go back to work.
