Covid-19: UK’s four-week lockdown ‘could be extended’, according to Government

The UK’s upcoming four-week lockdown ‘could be extended’, according to sources in the British Government.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Saturday that the UK would enter a total lockdown at midnight on Thursday. All non-essential shops and businesses will close, but schools, creches, and other educational institutions will remain open.

The lockdown is scheduled to last until December 2, but it could go beyond that, if necessary.
