The United States has set a new grim record, following the death of over 3,100 people from coronavirus-related illness in a single day.
A total of 3,157 people died on Wednesday, December 2. This is the highest daily death toll since April.
The Trump Administration has long been accused of sheer negligence in its approach to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has led to the deaths of over 250,000 people in the US so far.
