The Covid-19 virus appears to have resurged in the very city where the first case was detected last year, prompting health authorities to launch a mass testing campaign.
Six new cases were detected last weekend, following 35 consecutive cases without new known infections.
It is understood that none of the cases came from abroad, raising the specter that the virus still lurks in the community.
A spike in the number of new infections has also been detected in Germany and South Korea after these countries eased lockdown restrictions.
