The wage subsidy scheme is to be extended until at least the second quarter of 2022, it has emerged today.
The announcement will officially be made during Budget Day, on Tuesday October 12.
It is understood that the Government will use some of the Budget’s provisions to ‘offset’ the recent rises in energy costs, food, and other essentials.
