The World Health Organization (WHO) has claimed that the coronavirus pandemic might have killed upwards of 15m people worldwide.
The ‘official’ death toll stands at around 6.6m.
But the WHO now also wants to count ‘excess mortality’, which means people who may have died ‘indirectly’ from the virus, because they were unable to get proper health care, or many other reasons.
