The World Health Organization (WHO) is warning that the coronavirus death toll is likely to surpass 2m worldwide soon unless ‘global action’ is taken.
Officially, Covid-19 has so far killed over 900,000 people, though health authorities believe that the true figure is far higher.
The organization is calling for collective action now to avoid a grim death toll of over 2m or more.
