Ireland is taking on Argentina in the Rugby World Cup Quarter Final today in Cardiff. The boys in green have managed to get themselves into a position where we are quite literally just three wins away from raising the ultimate prize in rugby… the World Cup Trophy!
We a torrid affair with Italy, we just about did enough to get through the match and dust ourselves off.
Last weekend saw us take on a much harder challenge against France. With fallen soldiers, Paul O’Connell and Johnny Sexton left on the battlefield, it means a younger team are left to take on the South American side.
O’Connell underwent surgery on Thursday to fix a hamstring injury, but he will be in Cardiff today to inspire to team to do their best and get past the Argentineans.
The match starts today at 1pm on TV3.
