Custody Hearing Adjourned: Jason Corbett’s Children Still Stuck in US

A court hearing today has been adjourned until next week in relation to custody of the two young children of Jason Corbett.

Mr. Corbett, originally from Limerick City, passed away almost two weeks ago during a domestic dispute in his home in Wallburg Carolina.

After his death his two young children, Jack (10) and Sarah (8) were taken into the care of social services in the U.S. and are currently in the custody of their step mother.

The children’s aunt, Tracey Lynch, who was named their legal guardian in Mr. Corbett’s will, has been in the U.S. since the death of her brother along win her husband David in an attempt to gain custody of her niece and nephew.

The custody hearing which was held at 9am local time in Davidson County Courthouse, Lexington has been adjourned until next Tuesday as no verdict could be reached.
