A cyclist has been hospitalised following a collision in Dublin on Friday evening.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the cyclist a man aged in his 60s suffered a serious leg injury when he was struck by a vehicle on on Butt Bridge near the Custom House in the city centre.
It is understood the man who was quickly rushed to hospital following the incident which occurred at approximately 5:50pm on Friday evening.
Gardaí say the driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
