DAA say that they’ll manage queues as 100,000 people a day are due to travel through the airport

The CEO of Dublin Airport operator DAA has said he is confident the new procedures put in place at the airport will help prevent a repeat of the chaotic scenes of last Sunday.

On Friday morning new measures came into effect at the airport, aimed at avoiding a repeat of the chaotic scenes of last Sunday.

At 5:00pm, it took 35 minutes to clear security at Terminal 1 and 15 minutes at Terminal 2.

It’s understood that at least 100,000 people a day will travel through the airport every day throughout the summer.
