Gardai have confirmed this morning that a woman and two children entered the water when their car drove into a river in Cork on Friday evening.
Gardai have launched an investigation after a woman died when a car entered the water in an Irish city.
The incident happened at Kennedy Quay in Cork city at around 9pm on Friday evening.
Two kids, who were also in the car, managed to escape and were rescued by emergency services.
It’s understood they are being monitored in hospital today.
