Damien Bendall has confessed to the killings of Terri Harris, John Paul Bennett, Lacey Bennett and Connie Gent.
Bendall murdered Terri Harris and her children John Paul (13) and Lacey (11) as well her friend Connie (11) between Friday, September 17, and Monday, September 18.
He is also charged with the rape of Lacey.
The monster was arrested at the scene of the atrocities by Derbyshire Police who removed him to hospital where he was treated for injuries sustained prior to his arrest.
Bendall pleaded not guilty to the rape of Lacey and not guilty to the murders of Terri, John, Lacey and Connie but guilty to manslaughter. Mr Justice Sweeney told the court before the pleas were entered:
“We have reached the point in the interests of justice for the indictment to be put.”
