UFC President Dana White has confirmed that plans are afoot for a cage fight between pop star Justin Bieber and actor Tom Cruise.
White said that he was in talks with “with two big guys” about a potential fight after Bieber challenged Cruise on social media.
Speaking to TMZ White said
“As crazy as that sounds, that is true … I don’t want to use any names, but I was at home on a Sunday, and I got a call with two big guys on the phone,” White said. “They were telling me this could possibly happen, and this could be real. I’m like, there’s no way this is really going to happen. But if it does, call me back. I’m in.”
White went on to say “I’d be all over that fight. It’d be the biggest pay-per-view in the history of pay-per-view.”
Bieber (25) challenged the 56-year-old veteran actor to a fight in the Octagon on June 9th in what many dismissed as an attention-grabbing stunt.
However, the opportunity to punch the petulant pop star in the face seems to a have proved too tempting for Cruise who has signalled his willingness to take up the challenge behind the scenes.
