Gardaí in Waterford have revealed on social media recently that they have arrested a man after be he was caught speeding at 130km/h in a 50km/h zone.
The arrest comes as the Gardaí have launched a major clamp down on dangerous driving in the year 2017. Gardaí who posted the above image to their Twitter account also said the occupant of the vehicle was also charged with drink driving offences.
Although no dangerous driving offender can be legally named, Gardaí hope that by sharing the image and news of the arrest it will influence other motorist’s to be more careful in future.
