Former Anglo CEO David Drumm has been released from custody, after independent sureties to the tune of €150,000 were lodged with the court.
He was served a voluminous book of evidence before he was granted freedom. Mr. Drumm faces 33 charges relating to allegedly fraudulent activity between Anglo Irish Bank and other institutions. The charges include fraud, forgery, and innacurate accounting.
The ex-banker will appear at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on April 8. Mr. Drumm’s trial is not expected to commence until at least 2017.
