Daytime temperatures will reach 6C at best today as cold weather takes hold across Ireland.
Met Eireann is warning that the cold conditions might last until next week, with temperatures of -6C and -7C possible at night.
Motorists are being advised of potentially hazardous driving conditions, while pedestrians are advised to exercise caution on sidewalks and sheltered areas.
