Roy Butler, 23, passed just five days after getting the Covid-19 vaccination. A State pathologist who performed the post-mortem study on Butler’s body told the inquest that the situation is “baffling,” reports RTE.
During her tenure, Assistant State Pathologist Dr. Margot Bolster has conducted over 20,000 inquests; nevertheless, she has never seen a young person dying in this manner for whom an explanation could not be provided.
She informed Coroner Philip Comyn that it is impossible to prove or exclude a causal connection between the immunisation and the illness.
She stated that a sudden intracranial haemorrhage caused Mr. Butler’s death, reports RTE.
The young man, a gifted football player, was regarded as sportive, fit, and healthy by his family.
Five days after being vaccinated against Janssen Covid-19, he experienced a “catastrophic” brain haemorrhage that ultimately led to his death on August 17, 2021.
Prior to this, Cork University Hospital Consultant Neuropathologist Dr. Niamh Bermingham stated that a post-mortem examination of Mr. Butler’s brain revealed no pre-existing disorders, reports RTE.
She called it a unique case and said that, to the best of her memory, she had never seen a young man endure an inexplicable haemorrhage.
The coroner stated that the testimony during the previous three days was “complicated and moving” after receiving submissions.
Within the following two weeks, Mr. Comyn will transmit the verdict to the pertinent parties, reports RTE.
