The death toll in Sri Lanka has risen to 290, with more than 500 people injured.
Eight bombs went off across the country as Christians gathered in churches, hotels, and other sites for Easter Sunday services.
The Christian minority (about 6% of the population) has been subjected to violent acts in the past, but this is the deadliest by far.
It is understood that 24 people have been arrested in connection with the bombings.
