West Yorkshire Police have charged 31 people with involvement in yet another Child rape gang, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Charges include rape and sex trafficking of girls aged between 12 and 18 years old in the years 2005 to 2012.
Almost all of those charged, 30 men and 1 woman, are believed to be of a Muslim background and will appear in Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on September 5 and 6.
Dozens of towns and cities across England have been rocked by revelations as the scale of child grooming and abuse by rape gangs made of men predominantly of Pakistani origin.
Sarah Rotherham MP for Rotherham has said that as many as 1 million English children have fallen victim to these child raping gangs and described the situation as a “national disaster” according to, the UK’s Mirror.
