The destruction of the Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant and dam has resulted in the death of untold numbers of Russian troops, in yet another monumental blunder by bumbling Russian officials.
The dam’s breaching is a catastrophic event and a war crime in itself, but one that has also greatly affected Russian troops stationed on the Dnipro River’s east bank. Due to the layout of the land, a great deal of water quickly flooded the Russian positions, with hundreds of men drowning in their trenches or being swept away to their doom. This was confirmed by Ukrainian drone operators watching gleefully as scores of Russian men and materiel were washed away, as troops were not given advance warning of what was about to happen.
