Some tragic news tonight, as a three-year-old boy sadly died in a farm accident in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford this afternoon.
The incident happened near the village of Carrigabruise at around 4.30pm today. Local sources say that the toddler was hit by a farm vehicle.
The boy was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into the matter.
