Justice has been served on ISIS’ infamous executioner, the so-called “Jihadi John”, according to official Pentagon sources.
Following a surgical drone strike by US forces, he is now believed to be dead.
Real name Mohammed Emwazi, he became infamously known worldwide for the public cold-blooded killings of Western hostages in Syria.
Originally from the UK, Emwazi appeared on several ISIS videos speaking to the camera before executing a hostage.
He first came to notoriety when he killed US journalist James Foley on camera. Subsequently, Emwazi appeared on videos showing the slayings of UK hostages Alan Henning and David Haines, American journalist Steven Sotloff, aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig and Japanese journalists Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa.
