An education centre that offers a number of activities for blind children have issued an appeal to the public for help after ruthless vandals damaged its sensory trail.
The appalling act which occurred at the ChildVision centre in Drumcondra, has led to staff working at the facility to call on the public for help in order to repair the damage caused by the vandals.
In an announcement made this week, the centre which offers occupational therapies such as horse riding and other outdoor activities for blind children, said they hoped to have the damage repaired as quickly as possible.
It is believed the centre’s sensory trail was badly damaged after the vandals broke into the grounds last weekend.
Although the centre revealed they have already recieved overwhelming support, for which they are grateful, they say they are shocked and saddened as to why someone would purposely damage a much needed public resource.
