What’s already being declared as the “new” version of Irish Water, the proposed TV laptop licence fee is going to drag the government through the gutter yet again.
Already mooted is a privatization of the licence fee collection and even worse a possible doubling of the €160 to an astronomical €320.
RTE, the State broadcaster is going to punish the Irish public by subsidizing its costs with the help of the Minister of by pushing through a new TV/laptop/mobile phone licence fee.
Already people have declared they’ll protest and are willing to take to the streets again if necessary.
