Dog owners have been advised to remain on alert after a spike of ‘dog-napping’ incidents across the country.
A number of dogs vanished across Dublin, Kildare, Cork, Tipperary, and Waterford in recent times. The animals are presumed stolen.
People reported seeing a ‘van driving slowly’ around the areas where the disappearances occur.
