Remember when Twitter banned former US President Trump after the alleged January 6 “insurrection”? Soon afterwards, Facebook and Goole issued bans.
Shortly after the bans, Trump promised he would launch his own social media app. Many didn’t really take him seriously and thought he was just throwing his toys out of the pram.
Now we can see he really was serious and the left are exploding. In just 48 hours of the new “TRUTH SOCIAL app going live on the US Apple App store, the app has surpassed 170,000 downloads, according to the stockbroking reporting service SeekingAlpha.com
It has now reached some 250,000 downloads.
According to research firm Apptopia, the Truth Social app has been downloaded 170,000 times since it debuted on the App Store Sunday evening. Reuters said that the Truth Social quickly became the most-dowloaded app on the App Store after its release.
Trump Media and Technology Group is planning to go public soon through an SPAC merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ:DWAC).
At the time of writing, Meta (Facebook) share prices were down 1.27%, Twitter down 1.66%, and Snap down 1.47% whilst Digital World Acquisition Corp share price is UP a massive 15.45% during Tuesday trading.
