Donnelly defends government’s decision NOT to introduce mandatory quarantine into the State

International travel has been a disaster for Ireland’s fight against covid.

The public have played its part by doing all they can keep the numbers down but the government are refusing to introduce mandatory quarantine for people flying into the country.

The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly defended the ridiculous decision saying that the country believes there is little risk of importing new variants.

The public are fuming with this decision especially considering we can’t go further than 5km outside our home.
