
The Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe has said that he has no intention of running to become Taoiseach or Fine Gael party leader in the future.
Speaking to Bloomberg on a visit to the company’s offices in London, Mr Donohoe – who has been previously rumoured to take up the role in the near future, said he has no desire to take up the position.
The Finance Minister also said that his only focus is to continue doing the job he is currently doing.
He added that he fully supports the current Taoiseach Leo Varadkar in the position.
