Donohoe says he has ‘full support’ in Justice Minister and Garda commissioner

Full confidence has been expressed in the justice minister and gardaí chief after they faced calls for their resignation following the state’s worst unrest in decades, reports Breaking News.

Public Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe also warned against division after Garda cars, a bus and trams were set on fire, shops vandalized and looted and officers attacked during violent scenes involving right-wing elements in Dublin last week.

It comes shortly after three children and a woman were injured in a knife attack outside a school in the city’s north centre, reports Breaking News.

A five-year-old girl injured in a knife attack in front of the school remained in critical condition in a hospital on Saturday, while a thirty-year-old carer was in critical condition.

The other children have already been released, reports Breaking News.
