The so-called “new normal” nonsense appears to just be what those in government deem to be the rules and that’s that. The draconian conditions in which we’ve been living under for the past 21 months seem to be the way things are, no normal as we knew it is on the horizon.
Taoiseach appointee Micheal Martin has said that people in Ireland ‘won’t have a normal Christmas’ again this year.
Mr. Martin was reportedly serious when he said this, fully believing that people will actually listen to him.
According to the unelected Taoiseach, the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) has made a number of recommendations, which he will take onboard.
It is unclear why the Taoiseach, who simply does as he’s told by NPHET, still believes he has any power or influence over residents in Ireland.
