James Bond fans all around the world are mourning the loss of the first mega star to encapsulate the role of 007.
The legendary actor Sean Connery has sadly passed away at the age of 90 it has been revealed.
Speaking to BBC News, his son confirmed that his father died peacefully in his sleep overnight in the Bahamas.
Connery’s son Jason also told BBC News, that his father was surrounded by many of his family in Nassau.
Connery is best remembered for playing the British agent in six Bond movies starting with Dr No in 1962.
Connery also appeared in a number of other movies such as the Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October and Entrapment.
And the “other” James Bond classic Never say never again.
