Double trouble: Vodafone issues an apology after a number of customers were wrongfully billed twice




Vodafone have issued an apology to their customers this morning after they received a number of complaints from Bill pay customers after they noticed they were billed twice.

According to a company spokesperson the accidental double billing arose due to a technical processing error that seen a number of bills being duplicated abd debited twice.

The company say they are currently working to relive the fault and added that customers who are affected will be refunded over the next few days.

In brief a statement the company said: “We are aware of an issue with duplicate credit and debit card payments for some customers caused by a processing error.”

“Customers will be fully refunded over the next few days. All impacted customers will also receive an SMS with confirmation of their refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
