Renovation plans by the son of Euromillions winner Dolores McNamara have been interrupted as the Dept of Housing and Heritage has lodged a submission with the Council.
According to the Irish Mirror, Gary McNamara and Michelle McNamara had been hoping to carry out renovations to a house on the luxury estate of Tinarana in East Clare. But the Dept has now pointed out that they don’t have enough information about the impact of the works on the local bat populations.
The McNamaras will now have to provide a full bat survey, setting out details of the population on the site and how the development will affect them in the future. They will be hoping that the survey will be completed in the summer so that their works aren’t delayed for too long.
