The Minister for Transport Shane Ross has confirmed that all driver licences and NCT’s that have expired or are due to expire will be valid for a further 4 months.
In an announcement Minister Ross said those whose current drivers licence or NCT is expired will remain valid until August.
The decision comes as tests and the issuing of licences have been suspended due to Covid-19 outbreak.
