Drogheda possibly facing another water crisis this week as Irish Water attend another major burst water pipeline

Irish Water are attending a burst water pipeline that’s serving the Staleen Water Treatment Plant in Drogheda and Meath east.

Last summer, up to 80,000 people in Drogheda and East Meath were badly affected by a burst pipe that took over a week to fix.

According to RTE News, Irish Water said that a repair crew is currently assessing the damage and that repairs are due to begin shortly.

There’s enough water to supply the area for two days so they’re hoping they can have it fixed by then.
