DSPCA rescue two pups from a van at Dublin Port

The DSPCA have confirmed that they are currently caring for two pups which were found inside a van at Dublin Port.

It is understood that both the terrier cross and a retriever cross were found inside a van that had no ventilation or fresh water.

The DSPCA sat the pups which are about 8 weeks old were heading to the UK and it is believed that they would have remained inside the van for the entire journey.

Both pups are being cared for and a currently being treated for dehydration.

The DSPCA say the temperature inside the van at the time of their rescue was approximately 20C.
