Dublin Airport announces a ‘remote bag-drop’ service trial, with passengers dropping their luggage at remote locations prior to travelling to the airport

Dublin Airport authorities have announced plans to try out a remote bag-drop service, which would see passengers dropping off their luggage at a number of locations across Dublin before travelling to the airport.

The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) is currently seeking potential providers for such service.

If the service works out in the capital, it might be extended to smaller towns nearby.
