Dublin Airport Authority say that the direct delay that’s impacting people in Dublin Airport is the lack of staff in security due the pandemic.
They say that people should arrive some 2 hours before their flight in an effort to ensure that they’ll get through security in time for the flight.
There are ongoing reports of missed flights at Dublin Airport due to excruciatingly long delays going through security.
Long queues have become a staple at the Dublin facility as authorities struggle to run the airport properly. Staff doesn’t seem to be there even though flight schedules are known weeks, if not months in advance.
People are once again advised to be at the airport several hours prior to departure time, and hope for the best.
