Dublin Airport expects 425,000 passengers to pass through this Bank Holiday weekend

According to the airport operator (DAA), around 425,000 passengers will travel through Dublin Airport on the bank holiday weekend next June.

Around 220,000 passengers will depart Dublin Airport and 205,000 will arrive over the four day period between Friday and Monday. The expected figures are at the level of 2019, reports Breaking News.

Demand for parking in Dublin Airport car parks remains extremely high.

If you haven’t booked yet, consider taking public transport, taking a taxi to the airport, or letting a friend or family member accompany you.

Passengers flying out of Dublin Airport this coming weekend – and also in the coming weeks and months – are advised to arrive at their terminal two hours before a short-haul flight and three hours before a long-haul flight, reports Breaking News.

The forecasts for this week do not differ from those of the last few weeks: in the second half of May around 100,000 passengers will travel through Dublin Airport every day.

“With our full complement of 800+ security staff now in place and with a raft of improvements having been made in our two terminals, including the addition of hundreds more seats at departure gates, new family seating areas, exciting new food and drink outlets and faster free Wi-Fi speeds, we’re well set up for the busy summer months ahead,” reports Breaking News.
