It had been reported earlier this week by numerous media outlets (mostly they’re unreliable at the best of times) that Dublin Airport was going to start charging for people to drop off and pick up friends and family from the airport.
For donkey’s years people have dropped passengers off at the Departure entrance, and indeed use the same entrance to pick people up from their flights too.
Thankfully, Dublin Airport have confirmed that contrary to some media reports, they have absolutely no plans to introduce paid parking for such trips.
